Sean John clothing was founded in 1998 by Sean "Puffy" Combs who named the line after his real name, Sean John. It had always been a dream for Puffy to start a fashion line that was sophisticated and forward but held an urban sensibility to it.

Since its launch, Sean John clothing has gone from an urban clothing label to a HUGELY successful international brand. Since 2000, Sean John has been nominated for excellence in design 3 separate times. The fashion line, which includes shirts, kints, bottoms, outerwear, tees, hats and jeans are all inspired my Puffy himself.
