Saucony Shadow 6000
Saucony has recently been receiving attention from the sneaker community with their bring back of the Courageous and most recently a collaboration with David Z. Connoisseurs of Saucony have long worn a model from the early ’90s that is beginning to become more relevant to the masses - the Shadow 6000.
The Saucony Shadow 6000 is everything early 90’s runners were. The shoe has a complicated upper with many panels and pieces, yet simple color blocking looks best. Lightweight and comfortable, the shoe has incredibly soft midsole cushioning. And a favorite of many - a sturdy, support giving upper, yet breathable thanks to the mesh panels. Finishing off the shoe was a rugged, almost trail like sole that could last for many wearings. Crooked Tongues posted two colorways not seen as regularly as the simple White/Grey that is frequently on the shelves of the Rivington Club. With a retail price in the $80 range, the Shadow 6000 is a great shoe for a very affordable price. |

I need the blue ones- I have the white/grey you can find on eastbay- they look even better on the foot and are comfy. Hope the blue pair hits the US.

I am happy to see how heads who have been addicted to Nikes and Mikes are being more open to other brands and styles of sneakers.

I just think these look too much like a New Balance. Other than the Saucony logos, nothing on these stand out as a Saucony shoe. I like the old school Puma’s better because they are distinctive.
