Back in September, adidas surpassed Brand Jordan to become the No. 2 sneaker brand in America. And building on that success, adidas has reportedly continued to increase sales and revenue in North America.

Topping $1 billion, adidas’ revenue in North America increased by 31 percent for the quarter. Of note, e-commerce sales were up by 39 percent.

Also as part of their “Creating the New” business strategy, adidas plans to open a new office in downtown Los Angeles in 2018. This office will focus on influencer marketing and also be the home for sales, editorial and social teams.

“We really want to make the brand come alive using assets, events and athletes in that city,” Adidas’ Mark King said. “Opening an office downtown, and having a dedicated group to work with all of our assets and events that happen in Los Angeles, will allow us to really bring the adidas brand to life.”
