Recalled to Resell? “Fake Jordan 4″ T-shirts at Nike Stores

Last summer, there was a big uh-oh made on the part of Jordan Brand. The mistake was so bad that there was no good explanation for what had happened. Jordan Brand produced a shirt that used an image stolen from a website. To use one’s photos without permission is bad enough, what made matters even worse, and embarrassing, is that the photo was taken from a website that sold fakes. In case you were wondering, the mass produced piece of apparel featured a pair of fakes on it.
Due to the immediate outcry from Jordan fans across the net, these shirts were recalled. Much to our surprise, this weekend, we spotted these same shirts which were recalled last summer, back for sale at the Nike Factory Store in Round Rock, TX.
It was our hope that Jordan Brand was taking a line of advice from Spike to “Do The Right Thing” when they recalled the shirts last summer, but it has us thinking otherwise now that they are now reselling these shirts at their own corporate owned stores.
Personally, I am a huge fan of Jordan Brand and have a lot of love Jordan himself, but I can’t sit back and keep my mouth shut about this one. How can you recall an item only to turn around and then resell it?!
