In celebration of Pride Month, adidas teamed up with British DJ Fat Tony and recruited LGBTQ+ supporters like Elton John, Pharrell, Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss, David Beckham and Naomi Campbell to provide their own unique twist on the iconic Samba silhouette.
For each of the celebrity-designed Sambas, the upper has been re-imagined and re-constructed using a variety of materials like feathers, buckles and glitter. The lacing system for each is also changed up and many of the Sambas also have different soles.
Each of the celebrity-designed adidas Samba will be available starting on July 3 via a silent auction on eBay. All proceeds from sales will benefit The Albert Kennedy Trust.
