PEAK has two of its roster members in the 2014 NBA Finals, which kick off tonight, and they're holding a giveaway to honor the occasion. Tony Parker and Shane Battier are both signature members of the PEAK family, and will go head-to-head on basketball's biggest stage. Follow PEAK's website, or their @PEAKSportUSA Instagram, to find out in the next couple of weeks how you can win shoes for all Finals games, and keep Nice Kicks streaming for all of your sneaker news and information
Tony Parker led the San Antonio Spurs this season to the best record in the NBA, doing so in his latest sneaker from PEAK. Just a year after leaving Nike to sign with the Chinese brand, the three-time champion and six-time All-Star is already on his second signature shoe, the PEAK Tony Parker TP9-1. This sleek silhouette is tailored for Parker's quickness, and is tagged with his logo and signature on the heel and forefoot for personalization. Now, we have our own up-close and personal look at the design in two different colorways, each of which fully embody their endorser. The first is the TP9-1 "Away", a blacked out version for the Spurs road games, while the second is the "France" style code for Parker's home national team. Utilizing ventilated synthetic leather up top that was hot melted to create a seamless upper for reduced bulk, the TP9-1 rides on Gradient Dual technology with multi-density foams on the sole for maximum cushioning.
This NBA season has been filled with memorable Kicks on Court moments. One of the more interesting observations, however, has been the increased presence of Chinese footwear. In the 2013 NBA Finals, there are four players, including superstars Dwyane Wade and Tony Parker, who lace up sneakers from Chinese brands Li-Ning and PEAK. It seems that Chinese brands are beginning to gain traction, and with more and more players lacing up PE versions of sneakers, it is only a matter of time before one of these brands snag at least one more megastar. As we take a look a the Breakthrough of Chinese Brands in the NBA, one can only project who the next star will be.
The San Antonio Spurs are in the NBA Finals for a fifth time since 1999. Their point guard, Tony Parker, is under contract with Chinese brand PEAK, and images recently released revealing the PEs Parker will be wearing during said Finals. The PEAK Team Lightning “Finals” Tony Parker PE features two pairs of kicks, with one decorated in a white/gold makeup while the other in red/gold. Make sure you turn in tonight as the Spurs and Heat face off in Game 1.
Shane Battier is heading to another NBA Finals but what will the PEAK signature athlete be rocking? Images have surfaced of the PEAK Battier 7 Lite “Finals Away” PE. The Battier 7 Lite features an all-leather upper with a black-colored base and gold detailing. The most notable feature of the “Finals Away” Battier 7 is the Shane Battier’s bat logo emblazoned on the inside panel of the sneaker. Look for these to be rocked by the 3-point specialist in the 2013 NBA Finals.
