After Kevin Durant shed light on the Elite version of his latest signature a couple of months back, the Nike KD VI Elite “Team” is officially unveiled. Reworked from the low-top KD VI for a playoff push, the Elite “Team” most notably adds a full-length Nike Zoom unit that is completely visible for the first time in any of KD’s signature shoes. Even though it is pumped up with visible air, this updated version is actually lighter than the original. Designed to move naturally with the foot, Flywire and Kevlar fibers combine to provide lightweight lockdown. Premium materials and tailored details make up the postseason rendition of Durant’s latest, which is first seen in OKC Thunder-hues. Releasing along with the rest of the “Team”, alongside LeBron and Kobe’s models, the playoff KD VI will be available to the public on April 11th at select Nike Basketball carriers. Entering uncharted territory, SoleFly takes to their Instagram account to drop a preview of a collab with Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 3. Infusing the retro with a citrus vibe, warm tones take to the kick’s upper, as the tongue’s inner lining appears to put yellow on display and the heel counter flashing some fluorescence. From there, SoleFly seemingly brings a translucent outsole to the table, fittingly in red, with the midsole leaning toward a navy blue hue. With only a rear view as of right now, more than a few details are still unknown, so stay tuned to Nice Kicks for updates and drop your thoughts on this possible upcoming collab in the comments.
