Original Six Air Force Ones at 25th Anniversary Party

Flashback 25 years and not only was the game of basketball totally different, the shoes people wore were completely different as well. For the initial release of the Air Force Ones, Nike assembled a Dream Team of their own to promote the ground breaking shoe.

Today, the “Original Six” may not be playing in the NBA anymore, but their legacy is being celebrated by Nike with the 25th Anniversary of the Air Force Ones. Coming next year, Nike will release a line of shoes celebrating the “Original Six.”

At the “One Night Only” Air Force 1 party which took place 12/11 in NYC, all of the “Original Six” Air Force Ones were on display. We were lucky enough to get some shots of each of the signature shoes (one for each player), as well as a couple special pairs that featured all of the “Original Six.”
