Zoom Lebron VIIn Beijing yesterday Lebron James finally announced that the shoe he wore in some USA practices is in fact the Zoom Lebron VI. He did so at a press conference where he also showcased the shoe he will wear if and when the USA mens basketball team makes it to the Gold Medal game which provides the worlds biggest stage to bring them out. 6. All of these basketball players need to give it up, the only show that is legendary and is going to be in style until the world is over is Jordan, because they didn’t put the nike sign really big on any of their shoes but the 1s, so LeBron don’t quit your day job.

  13. “dont look like theyll be good to ball in”
    Comment by igotsharte

C’Mon man seriously…. You think they would put all that time and effort into a shoe and it not be good to ball in?

    @ YoDaddy

I wouldn’t be so sure about that “until the world ends” comment. As the Jordan generation gets older and new sports stars emerge the kids will rock those shoes… Remember a Jordan comes once every blue moon but rest assured there will be a blue moon someday. It wont take much….Grant Hill had millions of people rocking Fila BASKETBALL SHOES!

And as for when you said “because they didn’t put the nike sign really big on any of their shoes but the 1s” If it were that simple wouldn’t someone have figured that out by now?

  20. keep in mind Lebron shoes are designed for bball..and in my opinion they are a nice clean basketball shoe and I hope they perform good. Good look lebron and nike

    Comment by Devon — August 22, 2008 @ 1:13 am

  21. Man you guys are haters. Every year people say Lebron’s newest shoe is ugly… then pay 100 sumthing odd dollars for them. Lebron took it back to the basics with the classic swoosh. I like these.

    Comment by Chief Stewart — August 22, 2008 @ 1:17 am

  22. Agreed with Chief Stewart. You guys dont even read the post before hating. In this day in age how could he possibly end up with a shoe that sucked for balling in? The amount of research and technology just wouldn’t allow it.

If anything the fact that this shoe looks quite simple, would lead me to believe it will definitely be a good balling shoe. Why? because if it was completely crazy looking, there would obviously have been more focus on the look, therefor the performance suffers. This does not seemed to have happened with this shoe.

    Looking forward to it.

  23. theez iz fridesh, yall boyz crazy!

    Comment by kutnup — August 22, 2008 @ 2:04 am

  24. i think there is a difference between what looks cool/what performs great and what is appropriate for Nike’s Leadwagon -Bron….
as a simple bball shoe they look ok (they are screaming AF1’s!!)
but i think there is about time Nike put up a REAL signature shoe 4 him…They (IV) definitelly dont reflect what he is to Nike and bbal at this moment (look more like the LBJ 25-from 2023- that want to reflect real-old-school style for a 38 yo ex All Star)…they should be the sickest kicks of their line-and they are not!!!!!
the 20.5.5 came pretty close (original design-easily worn with a prada suit…) but they got “loafy” soon & never actually called Lebron’s…

bottom line- ok looking kicks- definitelly not Brons!
(looking forward on seing him play them so i can get a Sheed pic to compare)
ps: the “stiched” midsole & the simplicity of the design suggests that there’s going to follow a ridiculus number of “special editions” that include the National guard-the KFC/Starbucks and a limited Deshauwn Stevenson make-up….

    Comment by Hgeths — August 22, 2008 @ 3:30 am

  25. Typical lebron shoe. They all look the same. But these look like good shoes to ball in

    Comment by LB1224 — August 22, 2008 @ 5:09 am

  26. look decent very nice actually, like the lazering job on em!

    Comment by equis — August 22, 2008 @ 6:09 am

  27. Not every shoe is meant to have both on and off the court appeal (As evidenced by the above)…You can certainly ball in these, and plenty of other high top kicks, the shoe is decent, but they are not the best look off the court…IMO Lebron deserves better…

    Comment by Soloflight22 — August 22, 2008 @ 6:36 am

  28. I’d only play ball in these I wouldn’t rock them casually.

  35. The olympic joints look like some Vandals to me…The prototypes dont look too bad…These boys are right though…no other basketball players shoes will EVER be timeless like J’s…I wouldnt cop these now, let alone anticipate a re-release 10 years from now…Come on Nike…

  38. ehh? stil like the zoom 4s best. but i repeat, no one owns the shoe game in the nba like lebron james. second might be kobe, melo a distant 3rd. i trust lebron always brings great performance in his shoes. while i like the 4’s they were a bit heavy.but they dont call him king james for nothin

  43. While you guys are hating these are a whole lot better looking than the 5s in my opinion. the 5s just looked like a gay biker boot.

  44. I can fux wit these. Not usually a Lebron shoe fan but these and the first edition I like. Lookin forward to seeing some other colorways.

  45. ^^^^^^^^lmao at the gay biker boots comment.
Honestly I’m feelin these, I don’t own any Lebron’s but I think I might cop these not sure what color. Although his shoes won’t ever reach jordan status for obvious reasons he’s a beast on the court and will be legendary. I’m proud to “witness” it.

  53. for those of you who are saying sumthin like “they look like they wont be good to ball in” …smfh..u must b about 51 cards short of a full deck cuz u dont determine how good a shoe is by LOOKIN at it….put it on your f-in foot and try it on…then judge…

    Comment by Sanerio14 — August 22, 2008 @ 11:13 pm

  54. So whats the deal with that piece of leather going over the toe/laces. Is it a strap? Or is it stitched on all sides? Because if it’s stitched on all sides I really don’t get it.

That’s been bugging me more the more I see the shoe.

    Comment by BKost — August 23, 2008 @ 9:45 pm

  55. UNORIGINAL!!!If u close ur eyes halfway on the black and red ones they look just like the kobe 1’s. Then again on the other hand If fully u close ur eyes, u see nuthin..thats exactly what these are to me…nothin.
