Nike VP Unearths Rare SB Dunk Samples for Shoes 15th Anniversary

Nike VP of Global Design Sandy Bedecker begin his work with the company back in 1982. He started out as a wear-test coordinator, but many years later, accepted a role as General Manager of the Nike Skateboarding branch in 2001. The Nike SB Dunk was created in 2002.

That said, if anyone has the keys the proverbial castle were SB Dunks are concerned it’s Bedecker. He proves as much by vindicating rare SB Dunk samples on his Instagram. One of the pairs highlights a never-before-seen “logo,” while another was made for then Japanese baseball player Ichiro Suzuki.
