Nike SB HAT ROD P-Rod 2
| A short while ago we reported about the release of the Nike SB P-Rod 2 remixed by Tinker Hatfield. Kix-Files just gave us a heads up that the shoes have released in Hong Kong in addition to providing us with some great shots of the kicks.
For this shoe, Tinker took elements of two shoes he designed - the Air Jordan 12 and Air Jordan 15. The side of the shoe features a black woven material similar to that of the Jordan 15, but the Jordan 12 is represented in many ways on the sneaker. First, the sole and toe cap were colored in the same University Blue. The toe cap leather is the textured just like that on the Jordan 12. This same leather also makes a hit on the black swoosh. On the back panel of the shoe you can see the star of the “rising sun” pattern that made its way to the Jordan 12. Not letting too many thing get pas us, Tinker added metal lace loops for the top two lace hole shaped just like, you guessed it, the Jordan 12. Leave it to Tinker to do the best possible job remixing a sneaker with elements of Air Jordans. |
