LeBron James makes no secret of his admiration for sports heroes of years past. His celebrated #LeBronWatch program is proof to that end, honoring greats like Deion Sanders and now, baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr.
In honor of the “The Kid” and his Air Griffey Max 1, James and Nike outfit the LeBron 15 in an OG color blocking of the Griffey 1 while even going as far as to reinterpret the Swingman logo with Bron’s Dunkman logo. Obviously a play on the Seattle Mariners uniform, the black and teal palette reinforces the retro fitted look of the Nike LeBron 15 “Griffey” edition.
As with all #LeBronWatch releases, as soon as James laces a pair up on court, they’ll land on Nike SNKRS soon after. The Cavs take on the Mavs tonight so be on the lookout for a potential release.
