This Nike Kobe 11 Pays Homage to Bryant's Philadelphia High School

Lower Merion High in Philadelphia, for all intents, was a school no one knew until a youthful Kobe Bryant played as a freshman on their varsity team. Today, it’s an institution in Ardmore for high level hoops and tradition.

Here, a stripped down version of the Nike Kobe 11 pays homage to the school with traditional colors, removed from Flyknit construction. Breathable engineered mesh blankets the upper while grey and dark red hues fill the low-cut silo alongside an Aces logo at the heel.

Slated to release on April 9, look for the Nike Kobe 11 “Lower Merion” at select Nike Basketball retailers this weekend.
