Kobe and the Lakers are only one win away from their first NBA Finals appearance since 2004 when they had an “unfortunate outing” against the Pistons. For the first part of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, Kobe laced in the new Nike Hyperdunk. In a special release at the House of Hoops and online at KB24.com only 24 pairs of a special PE makeup of the Nike Hyperdunks were released in a special, commemorative clear plastic box. The box is crazy…Nike should utilize that packaging more often since they’ve already nailed the technology—now they should do some interesting things with boxes/packaging…
On another note …the purple are SICK! Love those…too bad they’re just a pipe dream for me.

this is only the initial player exclusive pairs (lakers home and away colors) there are also a few dosen other olimpics player exclusive colors going to argentina, germany and china teams. the public release is in august and I’m getting a pair for sure.
