Nike Hyperdunk Kobe Bryant “Black Mamba”
 As you know the Hyperdunk made its NBA debut on the feet of Kobe Bryant. Several special colorways have been produced for the MVP as well but for the Olympic Games he will have a special “Black Mamba” edition of the Nike Hypderdunk. Our Friend abt has sent us some pictures of the Nike Hyperdunk Kobe Bryant Mamba edition which has lasering around the toe displaying a mamba snake.
Silver accents along the ankle area and Kobe logo on the tongue make this color way very eye catching. No word if this is a official release but if any information breaks check back to Nice Kicks for an update. |

COMMENT 6 Did Better? Just about everyone knows Kobe is the best in the NBA right now but the object in the FINALS is to WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP! and it’s a team game and the better TEAM won. As for the sneak they nice something that i haven’t seen this design done on a sneak like this.

As for the shoes, they actually look nice. I imagine these would be a HIGHLY sought after pair of shoes now(if they were limited released) and even more so years later. The lasering on the the toe-box was a nice touch.
I’m not a Kobe stan but the guy has my respect - He is the best player in the NBA right now, so let’s STOP with the MJ comparisons because its not going to happen.

these should be praised! the laser etching is SICK. the design overall is just right. and nice colorway too. but it looks like it has a japanese theme even though it shouldn’t have. i’d cop these in a heartbeat. if i see it.

These shoes have a japanese/asian feel because the hyperdunk were developed in China….shoes is nice.

yeah, these hyperdunks look like the best shoes out right now for hoopin. havent seen them in person yet, but they pretty look like they’ll perform like souped up huarache 2k4. and to comment 14, when did Kobe wear the hyperdunks in a game? since they came out, i’ve only seen them in commercials. he’s been wearing his signature joints in every game i’ve seen…

Even though MJ is the better overall player to this point, Kobe Bryant is the greatest and most talented scorer this game has ever seen. And for those of you who need stats for proof, let me tell you MJ couldn’t OUTSCORE an entire Dallas Mavs team 62-61 by himself in 3 quarters. MJ couldn’t score 30 in a quarter against a top notch 6″9 defender.

Harry, put down the crack pipe. Look at the stats. Kobe is not the greatest scorer ever. Has Kobe ever had a season where he’s shot over 50% from the field. He couldn’t do that with Shaq drawing double and triple-teams. Who is the all-time leader in regular season, playoff, and Finals scoring average? Nuff said. I’m not a hater, just someone who likes to point out FACTS. Kicks are cool.

you guys are talking about 2 different eras where the box in 1 was not allowed in mj’s day and now it’s allowed in kobe’s era. it was more physical in mj’s day but mj wasn’t gaurded by 3-4 people every possession. kobe is the “MOST” double & triple teamed player the NBA has ever had.

I know Kobe is ya man but cmon kid? 6″9 denfender tell me when did the dallas mavs ever have a defense to stop #23 even when played with the Washington Wizard at 40 something years old he still avg 20 something a game and was the oldest guy on the team. During MJ era there were more HALL OF FAME PLAYERS that he played against than there are in the NBA now Bird, Magic, Worthy, Nique, Isaiah, Hakeem, Jabbar, Ewing, Barkley, Payton, Drexler, Malone, Stockton, Dumars, the list goes on and you saying Jordan would have TROUBLE Scoring on 6″9 defender and during Jordan era they wasn’t calling all these Ghost calls that they do now and the game was way more physical then Please you betta do some research before you go making comments.

30. Kobe is chasing single game stats… you know why? cos he knows he can’t even come close to MJ when you look at the big picture. 2 scoring titles, shooting 45 & 46% vs 10 scoring titles, with over 50% shooting for 6 of them??? it’s not even close.
anyway, i dig the hyperdunks, just not this colorway. i’m really curious to see how comfortable they are; there was that one game where Kobe started wearing them but changed out of them halfway through.

Team cans double and triple Kobe because they not afraid the other 4 players on the floor can beat them and most of the time they are right that why kobe gets tripled and double because he’s the primary scorer you can double anyone of the big 3 on the celtics and that leaves any two allstar scorer open and they made they pay when you leave them open.

45 what are taking about i’m not saying kobe is greater than MJ i think he’s the greatest player in the game right now but before you go jumping in know what the conversation is about when team double or triple one player like KOBE that means he is the guy that gonna be the scorer who they wanna stop when you got 4 or 3 or 2 or even 1 proven scorer like the Boston has you not gonna consistently double or triple one guy on the celtics because they know the have 2 other wide open Proven scorer on the court that can beat them all during the season the other lakers were stepping up but during the FINALS when KOBE got triple or double none of the other players Odom, Gasol,Fisher,Farmer,Radmanovic or whoever made enough shot to make them not double or triple kob.e

These are out now in Beijing and are hot! The lasering isn’t that noticable on the actual shoes and looks good. These are what Kobe’s been wearing so far in the warm up games.

I’m speechless! These hyperdunks gotta get released. I’ve been waiting and waiting. These is the best pair of kicks that adidas or nike have ever made for Kobe!
