LeBron James‘ chase down block in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals is that of legend. It’s a play that will stand as one of the best in his career. Nike Basketball honors that moment with this new “Come Out of Nowhere” commercial.
Although not a direct nod to the block throughout the clip in its entirety, the ad leans more towards James’ perseverance and general greatness overall. At the end, though, a young player mimics the block perfectly before the clip shifts to an image of James.
