Nike Air Yeezy Breakdown
 There has been much activity on the web surrounding any news about the Nike Air Yeezy - the shoe that Kanye West wore at the Grammy’s and since on his Glow In The Dark Tour. One of our readers put together a photo breakdown showing likely inspiration sources for the Nike Air Yeezy taking into consideration Kanye’s taste in sneakers. Not ironic at all, all of the elements listed are sneakers that Kanye has frequently been spotted in. One shoe not included in the list that I think lent some design ideas was the Nike Air Force V which is a shoe LONG overdue for a retro release.

Ok these are defiantly Kanye’s style but they are way out there .. i mean i like the whole glow in dark theme with the tour … but the kick is a mess to many different kicks massed up. its like a bad spizke …. lol only youngins with no original style will be dieing to rock these … interesting if it was a 1 of 1 but to release to the public … its a wack kick to much goin on

Put up a picture of that Nike Air Force V so I know what you are talking about. As for the kicks I actually like them but do believe they will get overhyped. I would switch the laces to carrot too or maybe some glow in the dark ones.

These are very nice in my opnion.Just not feeling the colorway.I was really hoping they were general release so it would be a easy cop but he had to go with a tier 0.I also agree with Nicekicks the Air Force V’s are LONG overdue for a retro,Air force V’s are prob on my top 10 kick list

this is the most hyped shoe ever…like i said they are nice but they look like a basketball shoe Amarie Stoudamire would where on the court…i like em but if they are a tier 0 release, i wont lose sleep..

These shoes are nice, but only if you wear them right. I could not picture someone wearing these in the heat of the summer with some shorts. But they would look really fly in some jeans, and a jacket that matches it in the fall or winter time. I would like to see them in different color schemes and in person. If they are a good price I will cop them. No more than $125 !!!

I believe you have that backwards. Because if you DO have style, you can pull these off. And being that they’re Tier 0, no “youngins” will even be able to cop these.
“youngins with no original style” usually go out and cop all the GR Jordan releases (as well as the first fake they see) and floss like they have a mean shoe game. They don’t go out and buy Teir 0 kicks.

Yo, I agree with kaidoctor 1000%. If Ye never had these and they were some regular GR, then no one would even think about buying them. Tier 0 doesn’t always mean “a must cop”… I know I couldn’t wear them. Also, I don’t know about y’all, but I have maybe one or two pair of jeans that could even fit over that tongue. No Juicy, No Rock & Republic, No Chip & Pepper, No newer Diesels… I can’t even wear Dunk High’s with a lot of those jeans, so I know these are out of the question.
P.S., I got my Glow in The Dark Tickets too!!! May 8th, Time Warner Arena (Formally known as Bobcats Arena).

I feel that these shoes are interesting. I really believe these are different for the sake of being different. That’s not always a bad thing. It seems that shoes are losing their functionality and that’s what makes sneakers classic. This is for Kanye and his many Bape minions.

and yeah they shouldnt be dropped teir 0… i work at a sneaker store and im no expert at sneakers but i know abouyt selling them… and nike and kanye will make way more money if they sell them like they do the fusions… they cant make too many of them because they would get played out fast…
and this is KanYe you know he wants that exclusive style that no one else has… but if they do drop in stores they should go $180 max…

These aren’t going to be released. They were made as one-off’s by The Kitchen team for Kanye.
There is a chance a few of these pairs will be auctioned off for charity benefit, but that’s it.
