Somewhat lost in sauce of Air Max Day madness and hybrid hysteria is the Nike Air VaporMax Utility. While hiking on rocks in VaporMax tooling sounds far from a good idea, pairing the platform with a sock-styled upper that rests above the ankle is a pretty modern play as ACG has gone less granola and more street ninja.
Meeting somewhere in the middle is this “Moon Particle” colorway. Taupe and tonal, this earthy upper ironically dubbed with a spacey shade is contrasted by a Persian Violet cushioning system that offers an unexpected twist to the blue hue we oft associate with Air whilst also nodding to the famed BW.
