There hasn’t been much from the Nike Air VaporMax in terms of tribute colorways during its first year in production. The shoe hasn’t directly pair homage to Air Max models of the past. Indirectly, though, we have seen pairs that look as though they’re inspired by the Air Max 1. An upcoming style appears to both mimic an Air Max 1 colorway and ode LeBron James’ favorite collegiate program.
Dressed predominately in grey and red that mimics the Ohio State Buckeyes adoring Scarlet Red fueled uniforms, the shoe also appears to pull creatively from a traditional Air Max 1 colorway yet with a darker palette given a black VaporMax sole.
