One of the more intriguing non-OG Air More Uptempo colorways will release this weekend. The shoe comes bearing a “Knicks” moniker for, truly, all the wrong reasons.
Themed after Scottie Pippen’s famous dunk on Patrick Ewing, the shoe’s insole actually holds a graphic of the facial with Pip towering over Ewing like he did decades ago. The shoe, of course, opts for a white leather base with Knickerbocker Deep Royal Blue and Team Orange accents throughout. To punctuate the look, the No. 33 appears at the shoe’s heel, an obvious ode to Pippen and a not so subtle jab at Patrick, too.
