Those eagerly anticipating the Air Max 98 20th anniversary can wait no longer, as the model has finally reached the two-decade mark. Throughout the year, Nike will celebrate the often underrated Air Max design with both OG releases and new colorways alike. The former takes shape next week with the return of the White/Tour Yellow OG.
Often considered the lesser of the two when compared to its predecessor in 1997, the Air Max 98 may not have meant what the 97 did in terms of impact, but it was a great risk taker and accompanied many of the same aesthetic details as the AM97. Full-length Air bolsters the layered construction up top which, in this case, alternates between white, yellow and navy shades with relative ease.
