Recognizing the vast contributions of Hispanics and Latin Americans across the country, Latin Heritage Month – which begins on September 15 and ends on October 15 – equally stands as a moment in time for Nike to pay tribute to the dutiful Hispanic people. Among other initiatives, Nike will release the “Los Primeros” collection starring this Air Max 1.
“Los Primeros,” which translates to “The First,” references the likes of the Air Max 1, Air Force 1, Air Jordan 1 and the Nike Cortez, all first of their kind and/or with a direct cultural correlation to the Latin community. The former, which we detail here today, is fitted in coinciding heritage graphics in white, red, and blue.
