The Nike Air Max 1 “Curry” is one of the more interesting Air Max sneakers of them all. Originally debuted back in 2003 as a general release, the shoe featured no collaborative partners, no limited release clause, and wouldn’t be what we today consider an “energy release.”
The “Currys” were just a really great, non-OG Air Max 1. And, over the last 15 years, the legend of the shoe has grown exponentially, making it one of the most coveted Air Max 1s yet equally one of the simplest. Dressed in a white base with brown and blue contrasts, the famed shoe is set to re-release for the very first time on May 10.
Sneaker Politics has confirmed that they’ll release the Nike Air Max 1 “Curry” at each of their locations as well as online. The “Curry” AM1s will release alongside two additional Air Max 1s with similar themes.
