Nike Air Maestro II “Trifecta” Pays Tribute to Scottie Pippen

Does the Nike Air Maestro II “Trifecta” make much sense in the context of the “Champions Think 16” Pack? Nah, not really. Is it a hot shoe with plenty of hoops heritage to care about and wear about? Uh, for sure.

Made most famous by Scottie Pippen when he wore them en route to the 1994 NBA All-Star Game MVP trophy, the very red shoe shined during Mike’s absence from the league and was bolder in blocking than anything Money wore prior. Yup, the Silent Assasin proved he was that dude in a loud shoe.

Back when basketball fever runs hot during the NBA Playoffs, this Pippen pair is set to hit Sneaker Politics and other NSW accounts on May 10th.
