Nike Air Flightposite “Metallic Gold”
Not too long ago the Metallic Gold Nike Air Flightposite made its way to select retailers, but at last the shoe has made its way online to Nike.com. The last time these came out was 8 years ago when the shoes were originally released. If Nike keeps this up, you better think of buying this time around or wait until 2016 for another chance. Heads up from Daily Drop. |

Egg plants are my fav of all the originals that have/are getting retroed, but I am still waiting patiently for Nike to bring back the carbon fiber ones!

I copped these as well as the blk/blk ones and its funny because the blk ones they released got NO LOVE and i bought them for only 99.99 at DTLR. They were basically giving them away! I got the gold ones for 105 @ Footlocker same story nobody was copping them around the way.
One thing that i noticed about them is that the gold ones are a better cosmetically than the blk. The blk ones were made strictly for basketball so the foam seems heavier and more durable while the gold ones are softer, lighter and have more bells and whistles (special box, extra tags, special sole) as one would say. I cant wait for the Eggplants in September.

nikeindabutt,
what DON’T you have?! I am amazed at how many pairs of kicks some people from NYC have given the price and size of housing there! no joke, my friend has one bedroom filled with just shoes in Long Island. I know rent there is a bit more decent, but that’s still just a few hundred a month for occupying a bedroom!

when i went to some spots in manhattan, i realized just how many shoe heads we have. i me this guy who had over 1,000 pairs. a older white guy with a beard. the dude was at west 4th. and he could ball too. he told me he has sneakers in his parents basement. thats how many he has. some guys claim to have to put their stuff into storage. i know a guy who has some of the rarest jordans around. he has the cool grey 11’s, brand new. yeah, ny sneaker culture is big. whats crazy is i remember these going on sale on eatbay and footlocker. i never wanted them. i liked the foamposites better. but i like em now. not this colorway tho
