Nike Air Flightposite Black/Black-Varsity Purple
House of Hoops continues to be the go to spot for limited and exclusive runs of the Nike Air Flightposite. The latest release is an all black pair with “varsity purple” sole. The color blocking on the shoe, though not from the original release in 2000, has a “TB” (team bank) feel too it.
Limited to just 72 pairs, you can guess the eBay prices. The shoes are also available on osneaker.com |

Holy Nikes these are hot. That purple looks lethal. Color of royalty (I’m suprised none of the LeBron’s have picked up on that yet).

^ yes, I know. Purple was some hot and unique a couple years ago, but now it’s like the new baby blue.

these are so ill but god damn it being at the house of hoops…in the time it took me to sneeze at the register was how long it took them to sell out of a pair of limited 8’s i wanted. the shoes don’t even make it to the display lol

This House of Hoops ish is getting stupid. The only ppl getting the limited shoes are slimy resellers or kids who have no job and nothing to do. Nike and HOH needs to really reconsider how these limited releases are being done.
The resellers make more money than either Nike or HOH on these shoes…
Comment by sneakFREAK — August 19, 2008 @ 2:48 pm
^^^ I totally agree w/ sneakFREAK…these HOH releases are making me feel both disgusted and disappointed. As someone who was an original fan of the flightposite and purchased all the OG’s I find it insulting that I can’t acquire any new releases w/o coughing up $600 to some greedy @$$ reseller on eBay. NIKE PLEASE STOP DISREGARDING YOUR ORIGINAL CUSTOMERS AND FAN BASE.

That plush insole is nice!
These and the J. Kidd’s are both $475 on Kixclusive! WOW!

Oh yeah, btw… what’s the actual retail for these at HOH?
And does anyone remember The Green Goblin version, made for the Spiderman movie?
Hotness!

Probably the best basketball shoe ever created. If felt like a heavy-duty sock.
The design was so unique, mainstream magazines were featuring it as a notable design of the year.
