Ahead of the Air Jordan 2 “Melo” release this June, the shoe is getting some buzz through an unsuspecting channel. A Nike customer, looking to purchase a pair of Air Max, received the famed Carmelo player exclusive by accident. Or did he?
Maybe too much of a coincidence considering the shoe is in the hype cycle less than a month before release, this seems as if it could be a marketing tool for Jordan Brand. A good one, at that. The shoe appears true to OG form, down to the tones used to honor Melo’s time with the Denver Nuggets.
