As 2017 came to a close, naturally everyone was more than willing to give their input on the top sneaker releases of the calendar year. Dubbed the NICE50, the Nice Kicks team compiled the fifty best colorways and models that came to life in the last twelve months, narrowing things down to — as always — a final order that sparks debate from all angles.
On the latest episode of the Nice Kicks podcast, founder Matt Halfhill, Blk Tray, super producer Jade Hoye and myself dove into the list, tallying up our own favorites and discussing the highlights of the year accordingly. (For the record, the Shake Ndestrukt is right at the top spot of my own list.)
