While this year was largely designated for the 20th anniversary Air Max 98, last year’s Air Max 97 remains a fixture a year following its two-decade marker. A new colorway is slated to release very soon, and it features hidden branding around the mudguard.
Similar to last year’s Undefeated x Nike Air Max 97 that had branding around the wavy pattern that lines the upper, this variation comes scored in a nylon and leather upper with contrast red branding. All-over print embedded deep in the mudguard reads Nike from toe to heel, not very different from the “I Love Nike” pack released earlier this spring.
This newly vindicated Nike Air Max 97 has recently released overseas at atmos. Stateside launch details have not been confirmed at this time.
