John Elliott fashion week shows aren’t the spectacle many other high-level designer shows tend to be. John is simple, much like his work and his own personal style. The gracefulness in simplicity remains his calling card.
That juxtaposition is a big draw for fans from all walks. LeBron James, one of his biggest fans is equally one of John’s biggest collaborators. James was in New York this past weekend for Elliott’s latest fashion week presentation. He sat front row with Ben Simmons and birthday boy, Kevin Love, just behind them.
Although not wearing his John Elliott x Nike LeBron Icon, James saw plenty of them in the show. Alongside the retail pair were other colorways, including a black pair for which John styled with a noir pocketed jacket and tie-dye basketball shorts.
It’s widely assumed that more JE Nike LeBron Icon styles will release soon. Nike nor Elliott have yet to announce those plans.
