New Balance MT580 2009 Preview
|
Just a few days short of the halfway mark through 2008, pics have surfaced of some of New Balance’s plans for the MT580 for 2009. The long awaited arrival of the silhouette made famous in Japan with countless collabs and great colorways made its way to the US only a few months ago but thankfully its visit won’t be short lived. These MT580s have the best features that appeal to heads as well as runners. A durable outsole and cushioning midole make for a lasting, comfortable ride. The Rollbar may provide an interesting aethetic look for heads, but this provides lateral support for the wearer. Lastly, few will complain with the lightweight and breathable mesh panels on the toebox and ankle collar. Photos from Freshness. |

Love what NB is doing…they certainly deserve the “most improved” award for 08, or at least a tie with Asics (who needs to be continously re-releasing Gel Lytes…)

Biggins,
It would not be a stretch to make that statement. I felt that Puma made major moves in 2007, but this year belongs to New Balance. I can’t describe how happy I am that the MT580 is finally here.

^ I hope that is sarcasm.
The days of 2 for $89.99 New Balance 574’s MURDERED their image imo. Still today they are working to recover from those days.
I am happy to see them focusing on quality, comfort, and creative design - the three things that made the brand as big as it is in the running world.

^ Amen bro. Seeing NB sold like that put the taste of ass in my mouth. NB is about quality and originality, any NB fan will agree with that.

Absolutely…
I’ve been wearing NB’s since the 9th grade (which was unusual for me as my closet has always been jam packed with Nike’s since childhood) and I’ve been waiting with baited breath for NB to really come full circle with its colors & classic designs.
