Pharrell’s adidas partnership grows larger this month with a budding NMD Hu again in collaboration with his band, N.E.R.D.
Following a grailworthy yet almost impossible release last year at the second annual ComplexCon, Williams is at the helm of another N.E.R.D. themed adidas NMD Hu set to release exclusively at the Z104 Shaggfest festival in Williams’ hometown of Virginia Beach, Virginia. This, unfortunately, could make the shoe almost as difficult to secure as its predecessor.
Removed from the all-black aesthetic that made the first pair such a treasure, this one triumphs in vibrancy courtesy of a white Primeknit base offset by glowing red, blue and neon green contrasts.
Z104 Shaggfest takes place on Saturday, June 16, which is when the N.E.R.D. x Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu is set to release. Headliners for the festival include N.E.R.D., Rae Sremmurd and French Montana.
