To celebrate the sport of football UK retailer Footpatrol has partnered with Mizuno for a collaborative capsule collection

The Footpatrol x Mizuno “Post Match” Collection comprises the ‘95 Mizuno Contender silhouette and a football jersey, each injected with Mizuno’s timeless functionality and design cues.

The reworked ‘95 Mizuno Contender boasts a premium nubuck construction in grey as well as premium football boot leather on the toe box as a nod to Mizuno’s Morelia football boot. Further elevating the pair is the washed-out suede on the toe cap and heel collar, as well as the reflective detailing on the lateral heel. Lastly, Mizuno and Footpatrol logos arrive on the tongue, while down below is an EVA midsole to provide cloud-like cushioning.

Over on the matching split grey and black jersey, nods to the 2001/2002 Fiorentina kit can be seen. The kit is embellished with an “FP” monogram on the left chest as well as a recreation of the Scudetto moniker in pride flag colors. Rounding out the final design cues are the “Mizuno” logo on the right chest, “Reckless Records” as the shirt sponsor, “EST. 2002” – the year Footpatrol opened – on the left arm, and “20” on the back as a final no to the retailer’s 20th anniversary.

The Footpatrol x Mizuno “Post Match” Collection can be purchased now via Footpatrol.com. For more drops, check out our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar.
