Bill Schmidt, former vice president at Gatorade that helped to develop the iconic “Be Like Mike” ad campaign, has put up his vast collection of Michael Jordan autographed items up for auction. Among the pieces is a pair of signed “Cardinal” Air Jordan 7s, worn by Mike during the start of the 1992-1993 NBA season before debuting the 8s.

The sneakers are game used (so they have the true essence of Michael Jordan Cologne in them) and come with a certificate of authenticity as well. The auction is for serious Jordan heads though, as currently the bidding price is well over $2,700.

But hey, if you want to own a pare of rare Jordan memorabilia, head over to Steiner Sports to bid on the sneakers and check out other items from Schmidt’s collection as well. Additional items include several signed Air Jordan PEs, game jerseys and an insane collection of jerseys and items from 90’s star players throughout the NBA.
