Michael Jordan Mitchell and Ness Throwback Jersey
| Later this month on Jordan’s 44th birthday, the Air Jordan 22 will be taking off, but so will something even more special. February 17th is a special day for Mike, it is of course his birthday, but it is also the day that he took off from the foul line and won his first NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of winning the dunk contest, Mitchell and Ness worked out a deal with Michael Jordan to produce a limited number of jerseys exactly like the won he wore that day. In the past, there were never Michael Jordan jerseys made by anyone other than Nike or by whom ever had the NBA contract. Next Saturday, February 17th, 499 Michael Jordan Mitchell and Ness jerseys will be released to the public. The 1/500 has been delivered to Jordan himself and is the only one made in size 46. These will only be sold at 23 stores nationwide. The retail price is $400 for the jersey which is not much considering how limited the jersey is and the commemorative box it comes in. One of our favorite sneaker shops, Premium Goods in Houston, TX will be getting these in. Better dress warm that night because I can assure you that there will be people camping out for these. |
