Mi Gente Clothing Air Jordan Battle Recap

Miami Beach’s Buck 15 was taken by storm on Tuesday March 27th for Mi Gente Clothing’s Battle Of The Jordans. It was a legendary evening for all sneakerheads alike. The venue was officially declared “filled to capacity” and even then, dozens of people were still outside trying to hustle their way in.

The competition was fierce with people wearing everything from OG I’s, Carmine VI’s, OG X’s and Player Exclusives (DA) V’s. The night was not going to end until two winners were recognized; one girl and one guy. Fat Joe, Team Jordan rep Ivan Diaz and Safe Stadick served as the judges and at various times during the competition, each of them were definitely surprised with the rare classics that some of the competitors unleashed.

Jissa won with her pair of OG Sky Jordan I’s (1985), and Kwab won with the rare OG Air Jordan I’s White & Grey (1985) that even made Fat Joe do a double-take. They each walked away with an Air Jordan III Laptop Bag, Mike Bibby Team-Dime Player Exclusive B Loyal autographed shoe and Mi Gente custom T-shirts.
