When Los Angeles Lakers swingman Josh Hart hits the court next season, don’t expect him to be lacing up any of Paul George’s signature Nike sneakers. In fact, don’t expect Hart to wear any signature sneakers from anyone that the Lakers are playing against.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Hart posted a video to his stories of him throwing out a couple pairs of George’s signature kicks. Hart explained why he was throwing out the shoes by captioning the video, “Too competitive to wear people shoes I compete against.”

Hart may be taking things to the extreme by throwing away perfectly good pairs of shoes but you have to at least admire his competitiveness. And while Hart refuses to wear any competitor’s signature sneakers, he can still wear LeBrons or Kobes, which still gives him plenty of options.
