During the 2013 Rising Stars Challenge, conventional wisdom would inquire that Kyrie Irving would take things lightly due to the fact that he would be a participant in the big game on Sunday night as an All-Star reserve. Nonetheless, it seems as though Kyrie’s competitive juices got flowing as he became both an NBA and social media sensation by destroying the self-esteem of Brandon Knight with a vicious crossover resulting in the fall of Mr. Knight.
Finishing the contest with 32 points and 6 assists, it was rather remarkable that Irving didn’t go home with the MVP award. He would still dominate the weekend in Houston.
