Kevin Durant is in full-on Nike KD 9 mode. After his launch event in Austin, Texas earlier this month, KD hand delivered a few pairs of the shoe this weekend while riding his bike through the streets of New York City.
Nike, in a joint effort with delivery service Postmates, made this unique experience possible. Select customers who purchased the Nike KD 9 “Premiere” were treated to this one-of-a-kind experience, having Durant ride his bike to their location and personally deliver their pair.
Shoppers were able to order the shoe prior to its July 1 release date, and KD wheeled up in a KD 9-fitted bike for the ultimate same-day delivery. Props to KD for doing cool stuff like this.
