It’s Official: Reebok x Voltron Collection

Voltron x Reebok Package

In the past we reported about the “Voltron Package” that Reebok was working on. Though in the past the package took inspiration and unofficially took “inspiration” from Voltron, now it is official that Reebok and World Events Productions (owners of Voltron) have collaborated on the shoes that will begin to release this October.

Inspired by the ever-popular animated TV series Voltron: Defender of the Universe, the Reebok V-Pack collection is comprised of five boldly colored shoes that reflect the energy of Voltron. Debuting in 1984, Voltron featured five Lion robots that assembled into the mighty robot warrior Voltron. The series proved to be a huge hit and quickly became the number one children’s program around the world. The mega-hit is being reintroduced into popular culture with the debut of five Voltron-inspired Reebok shoes. Each represents one Lion robot and is aligned with some of Reebok’s best-known silhouettes.

The first of the V-Pack shoes will hit retail this October. Every few weeks additional shoes will become available- first the legs (blue and yellow), followed by the arms (red and green) and finally the body (black) to complete the collection. Each of the shoes will retail with its corresponding Voltron lion robot toy. Get all 5 shoes of the package and you can then assemble the mighty robot Voltron.
