Greedy Genius x Barneys “Hang in Style”

Greedy Genius has broken the silence with an upcoming exclusive collaboration with Barneys New York. This definitely is not the first time the two sides have worked together on a project together, but this is arguably their best set to date. From left to right from the photo above is the Battleship Cool Breeze, Crown Phantom, and Blanca Negra Cool Breeze. The Battleship Cool Breeze employs machine colors featuring a slate, burgundy and black suede and Napa leather upper with a black sole limited to 144 pairs. The Crown Phantom limited to only 127 pairs features Napa upper with patent leather details a clear gel sole and special Greedy Genius crown laser detail on the heel with a soft pigskin lining. Last, the Blanca Negra Cool Breeze features an all white Napa leather upper with black patent leather accent and comes in only 61 pairs. The Greedy Genius x Barneys Exclusive set releases next week and will be distributed across 10 Barney’s Coop stores and online at BarneysCoop.com. That’s what I thought too. For a while I wasn’t feeling Greedy at all, but this lineup as well as some stuff in the fall that I can’t talk about has given me a new sense of faith in the brand.

i luvem ive always been a fan of greedy but nobody where i live knows what they are if lil wayne wore’m everybody i know would have a pair deffinate cop on tha battleship cool breezes

I love what GN$ is doing. I just copped a pair of the Apaches, those kicks are dope! Now I’m gonna have to visit the Barneys here in Boston. Adding to the stack!

Phantoms are nice, but if I got any it would be the first ones, with the red/burgandy sole.
I moved away from greedy for a while, but this might bring me back around.

everybody seems to get a sense of fashion from lil wayne. why? i dont know. he didn’t start any trends at all. i dont like people like that.none of my friends wear the shoes i wear anymore. they wear pradas, guccis, and maybe some exclusive air force 1’s every now and then. but i never changed my sense of fashion. i’ve always wore nikes and air jordans. i wanted some jordans because mike had them. when i first started wearing them, i didn’t know which shoe was which i jut know i wanted to be like mike. i wasn’t copying anyone, if i was i’d be wearing only pradas and guccis too. needless to say, if people start wearing these because of lil wayne, you cant take them seriously fashion wise. you wear them because you like them. if skechers came out with a shoe i felt i liked, i would buy them. because i like em and thats all that matters

^ real talk. hype kills dats why i jus start looking for stuff dat none of me people are on. but i’ve been a fan of greedy every since i first seen them on this site. i thought they were falling off but these are the best i’ve seen from them since the early dayz. alot of haters on them, but i think they raw n my opinion matters the most ne wayz! lol

Word up on that. Lil Wayne got some wack preschool lines. It’s just his delivery that makes him so popular. My two roommates are on that kats nutz…..I think he’s sorry as hell and if Lil Wayne gonna be wearing these shoes and other GG kicks, I’m DEFINITELY not going to. It’s Supras and Air Jordans for me.

1 of the 2 Greedy Geniu$ that I have is a Barney’s Exclusive. It’s the all balck with napa n patent leather. My fav. I have to say that I only like the GN$ X Barney’s Collab shoes.
I love’d GN$ from the start and to all the Hypebeast and followers.
