Maybe they’re like a Jordan Trunner?
I hope so, or say “goodbye” to your ankles, Kobe.

obviously these aren’t the official Kobe IV’s JUST because of the fact they are low top.

Kob’s shoe line is falling off just like his NBA legacy (SMH)

This is most likely going to be the new Kobe.
I’ve seen them and held them in my hands but not impressed at all. To me they look like the Zoom Vapors (tennis shoe) But similar to the last Kobe they are pretty light and will probably be comfy.

WHY IS IT THAT KOBE IS BY FAR THE BEST ALL AROUND PLAYER IN THE NBA - BUT YET HE CONSTANTLY GETS CHOPPPED & SCREWED UP WHEN IT COMES TO HIS SIGNATURE SHOES? I MEAN REALLY WHO WILL EVER IN 6 YEARS BE WAITING FOR THIS SHOE TO BE RETROD???

I’ll just have to wait and see them in person? it does look more like a running show than a basketball shoe? i’m just sayin!!!

I like them but not for basketball. They look like training or work out shoes.

I don’t like ‘em, especially not for $120. The design should be stepped up a few notches.
Comment by Antwan — July 1, 2008 @ 11:03 am

I don’t understand the fact that these are low tops. Maybe this is just the low top version of his shoe….or maybe Kobe has jumped on the low top bandwagon with Mike Bibby.

Gilbert Arenas likes Lows as well. This is not much lower than the Jordan III. Let’s be real.

I’ll buy kobe’s regardless of how they look. they just have to be comfy and durable. everybody that’s leaving a negative comment will eventually change their mind. kobe shoes grow on anybody. once you see kobe wearing it, you’ll change your mind. kobe III’s are a perfect example. at first everybody complained about kobe’s line spiraling downward, but currently at my gym half of the people are wearing it.
