“Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite
 In the latest issue of Dime Magazine, Washington D.C. rap artist Wale was seen sporting the Eggplant Nike Air Foamposite 1 for a LRG ad. Wale is obviously a Nike fanatic seeing that he made a song called Nike Boots.
This style features the original combination of black and purple on the upper. There were many rumors surrounding this shoe regarding the outsole color. Though lots of sources said it would be solid black, the Eggplant Foamposites Wale had on his feet were clearly translucent (no pun). im one of the biggest foamposite and flightposite fan but the foams are my number one love the fact that nike is doing this colorway but im praying to god they make the midsole black i cant stand the clear bottom yellow i cant even wear my blue foams and the black midsoles would look sicker come on nike..

Im want them clear. seaglow works on them is like saying i want the penny foams with a black sole. i have all foamposites i hate the solid sole colors i would bought the samples but size are too small for me

These are def dope, but I highly doubt nike would be stupid enough to put a black sole on it, if anything it would be grey.

WOW. I can’t believe they waited so long to cook these up. Quite honestly, I think I like this color better than the original Penny Foam color, and that’s saying a lot.

Back in the day I didn’t like foam or flight posites but over the years they have really grown on me! I want these in this colorway and some flights. Good thing these come out next year, better start savin up.

theose eggplants can go eitherway; chilling or balling. i purchased the all black joints last year and i ball hard on those, INDOORS only!! when i 1st saw the eggplants, i wasn’t feeling rthem at first, mainly because i wasn’t sure if cats would ball in these or wear them to chill. i have a pet peeve for specific basketball sneakers worn solely for chilling. however, in the case of the eggplants, they go either way. and yes, whoever Wale is, the outfoot looks good. but not good enough to want to go and purchase some LRG.
