“Eggplant” Nike Air Flightposite
 After a long absence, the highly-anticipated Eggplant Nike Air Flightposite is now available at stores nationwide. Originally released in 1999, this Black/Eggplant-Metallic Silver colorway has always been a basketball favorite.
This sneaker features a zippered upper made of Posite material that provides a custom fit. It also possesses a dynamic-fit sleeve for extra comfort and support. While we’re on the eggplant theme, which pair is better: the Eggplant Foamposite or the Eggplant Flightposite?

*THOUGHT* Since Nike is dropping the foamposite in an original flightposite colorway—any chance we can get a blue flightposite with ice bottoms (ala foam 1)?

A Black/Neon Royal Flightposite would be bananas. I dont know about a clear sole though just because that shoe may look odd with that. I would be straight with a black sole if they did the rest just like the Foamposite 1.

Never was a fan of these. However, I can see the potenial of a clear sole on it if the uppers had the right colors to flow with it.

Foamposite of course maybe the greatest style…
I think Penny has worn this eggplant flightposite only one time in game 4 of the first round of 1999 playoffs.

Absolutily GARBAGE!!!! What the hell do people see in these seriously??!! I never liked these and never will…and I have an eclectic taste in sneakers. These are just hype…they don’t look good with anything!!! Terrible…these should never be a best seller.

Look…I’m all for art and many sneakers fall into that catagory..but these DEFINITLY don’t!!! These are just terrible. I’ve even tried them on once and all I got to say is…what the f#@%!!! They just don’t look good…absolutily nothing about them. Garbage is the word that comes to mind.

Seeing the royal/black Solo Flights made me want to see the Flights release in that colorway even more. But the sole would have to be black, because a clear soled Flightposite would look really odd IMO.
And I will always and forever like the eggplant Flights more than the eggplant Foams. The eggplant Flights are my grails, and I believe they are the most unique pair of Nike basketball kicks ever.
