“Dice K” Matsuzaka 1World Air Force Ones
At the start of this year a limited number of the “Dragon” Air Force Ones were released in Asia. Whether or not those were intended to release, the same shoes will be included in the 1World Air Force 1 campaign.
The Air Force One’s are designed by Japanese born Daisuke “Dice K” Matsuzaka who pitches for the Boston Red Sox. The upper features a pallet of exotic materials including pony hair, scaled “dragon skin” leather, and textured patent leather. At the heel of the shoe is a dragon logo that forms the number “18″ - the number on the back of his Boston jersey. No word yet on availability, but we will keep you in the loop. |

I remember when http://www.kix-files.com had these and yes the price tag was well over $500 (depending on your size). Being from Boston and stilling living there now, if I can I cop these I will but I bet it will be similar to the Questo release and I don’t camp out for kicks so we will see what happens.

i would put these in a display case since they are horse haired and “SHOULDN’T” be worn at all…but they are iight, i’ll stick to my white/white and black/black up-towns since air force 1’s made every possible colorway that’s out there to offer

dice k needs to stick to fastballs. these are absolutely horrid. i’m puzzled why nike thinks athletes can design.

gold,
I do have to laugh that some suckers for hype camped out for a shoe that was never publicly released. Poetic justice if they were only there looking to flip.
I respect KAWS for his work, but I don’t understand how it’s in Nike’s best interest to have people who are part of the 1World Campaign if the products aren’t even available to the public. How does that make his AF1s different from any other VIP SMU?

^^you def know more about the business then I do, but I didn’t get it either. wouldn’t that already had been a contracted deal? I called a friend of mine who actually has a nike account and he told me, “yeah kaws pulled the deal” maybe it benefits kaws cause it makes him more taboo, but im with you..thats an actual campaign, and he smoked off a huge part of it. theres got to be some legal agreements in there somewhere, that were not knowing about…what you think
