Much like Jeff Staple and the Pigeon Dunks, Diamond Supply Co. was well respected in their industry, but working on an SB Dunk got them great exposure to the sneaker circle. Diamond Supply Co. has continued with their hardware and apparel business but is set to release their own line of shoes next year. More colorways will be coming in this model as well, but you can pretty much count on the “Tiffany” colorup getting the most attention. Pics and info from CtotheJL. |

These shoes are dope. You people get too caught up in past releases and can’t just look at this shoe from a clean slate. stop comparing it to a chuck taylor, the tiffany dunks, or whatever other shoe it resembles.
look at it like art. like music. you are the kind of people that hear a new radiohead song and compare it to another song and try to throw it into a “been done” trash compactor. this is art, this is design. having the idea to rip up a shoe is an art in itself. did you think of it? did you do it? no, ur sitting behind your computer hating on someone else’s eye for artistic loopholes.
look at the shoe for what it is. it’s got a lovely shape, clean accents, and a solid logo. there’s nothing to hate. stop comparing previous shoes with new shoes. just appreciate it for what it is. it’s art. and if it’s “ripped off”, fine. that’s art as well. the art of “ripping off” and coming up with another version. its still liberal and innovative.
and if this shoe was on a shoe wall at a skate shop 5 years ago it’d be the hottest shoe on the market. but this saturated shoe market is all about comparison and what shoe looks like what shoe. take each shoe as a whole, as a work of art. and if it happens to be a successful “rip off”, so be it. good job. make money.

I like em even tho they have a similar shape, there are small details that make them diffrent and appealing

*yawn* Inspiring…if not for the “diamond supply” affiliation I doubt anyone would give these the time of day…might as well stick to good ole Chuck T’s —an American classic
