Those keeping close track of the Kicks On Court Champion race know that DeMar DeRozan is a perennial player in the sneaker game. Taking the hardwood last night in the Raptors’ popular throwback jerseys, DeMar took it up a notch on the feet by wearing a NIKEiD Kobe 9 EM designed by Kevin Xie.
The pair pulls from DeMar taking to Twitter and asking fans to design a NIKEiD shoe to match the 20th Anniversary jerseys. While Kevin was the first fan to have a winning design, four more were picked by DeMar with their designs likely to debut on court soon. Aside from getting the excitement of seeing DeMar rock their do-ups on court, they will also receive a pair in their own size. Congrats to Kevin!
