David Z x Saucony Courageous Part Tres
Saucony has made a big return to the game with success of retro bring backs that have been the focal point of collabs with Rivington Club and David Z. This colorway is the third and final part of a Daivd Z x Saucony Courageous trilogy, but don’t get any ideas that this is the last time you will see Ronnie Fieg and Saucony work together on a project. This time around Ronnie “Ran Away” with the shoe doing a first ever split Saucony logo.
The shoes will release this weekend in perfect timing with Ronnie’s birthday. While most of us will get a crappy card and cake, you can take part in this event when the shoes go on sale Thursday at DaivdZ.com and Friday instore at David Z’s flagship shop. Only 120 pairs of this colorup were produced with a ticket price of $90. View more detailed shots after the jump. |

i dont like these sadly yo each their own however. it looks like a butchered pair of air max 90’s.

The Rivington Club kicks are way better, to be honest I liked the other two colorways better than these too. Plus there is a lot of heat this weekend and month so I’ll have to pass.

Damn Ronnie these dudes are all blind. those shadows look like payless joints. if any of you got the first two run aways you would know how sick these really are. got the first two, gonna make it three.

So dudes jump on the first two run aways and then jump off and on to ARC? wasnt David Z’s the first to collab with Asics and the first to collab with Saucony? I’m sticking with the courageous, the original Collab.

I’m not sure about who was first to collab on an asics. Maybe Matt knows. Matt can you clear that up for us?

David Z actually was the first to collab with Asics on the Gel Lyte III and with Saucony, yes. I checked my calendar from last year and the first David Z dropped at the end of May and the Patta joints dropped in mid June.
I called David Z to double check, but they have done special makeups with Asics before the Gel Lyte IIIs but on the Onitsuka Tiger kicks.

These are interesting. I can’t come up with a legit reason to hate on ‘em. Might cop. Last David Z’s I got were the Gel Lyte solid golds. Good stuff.

They look better and better the more i look at the pics. and for $90 isn’t bad at all. They different thats why i’m feeling them

I copped the first ones (red/blue), but sent ‘em back. They’re nice, but wasn’t what I was expecting. However, these go hard. The more of you who hate only make it easier for cats like me to cop a pair *lol*
As for the David Z x Asics Gel Lytes, I copped the Stainless Steel pair and still cracking sidewalks here in GA with ‘em. Get ya weight up, haters…*lol*
Keep doing what you do Ronnie. Be a long while before I set foot in your store in NYC, but you get props here in GA, mane.
