Dark Army Foamposite, Bakin’, Darwin
 Nike was teasing us last year with a neon green translucent sole on samples of the Air Foamposite. When the shoes delivered to retail we received the awful news that the clear bottom was replaced with solid, colored rubber.
Though not a translucent neon green, Nike did place some translucent green soles on the upcoming “Dark Army” Air Foamposite that is releasing this Saturday, August 30th at the House of Hoops. Along with the Foamposite is two other shoes ready for battle - Nike Air Bakin’ (sans “Air Allah” logo) and Nike Air Darwin. Timing isn’t wonderful as these three sneakers are begging to be enlisted for outdoor battles, but you can always slide them underneath the bed for next summer. As for the damage, the Foamposites will ring up at $200, Bakin’s for $125, and Darwins are $90. Pics from KATC. |

Those black foams with the clear bottoms are 100X better than the black that released last year…
BUT…since these are a House of Hype release and I’ve vowed to ignore anything HOH—forget I was even here.

If you weren’t feeling them during the time of the original release, you never will.
Many of the Foampositie lovers, loved them from Day 1, in the Orlando Magic colorup, not just “since last year.”
And I want to walk up to the owner(s) of HOH and slap the hell out of him/her/them. When will it ever stop?

those dennis rodman’s are cold as hell “darwins”..and i’m feeling the foamposite’s too…im getting the rodmans though because i have the white/red colorway sitting close to brand new in the box minus the small creases on each of the sneakers

I love kicks as much as the next head, but does your life really end when you can cop HOH releases. Get a real job and cough up what it costs, or just go buy some Starburys.
HOH is not meant to generate sales. It a hype machine for future NIKE and JB releases. Look what the first KOBE HD release did for the HD line.

@ RULER of NY…i’m from NY and not even NYers can really get their hands on HOH releases…not unless you are (typically) 15-18′ish with no job or responsibilities to speak of—and you can stand not showering and sitting on a dirty azz uptown sidewalk for 2/3 days…

I feel you, but still, I dont lose sleep when I miss out on certain kicks.
Im def with you on the NO-CAMP POLICY. Only people who do are the losers with no lives or kids too young to have one.
Employees benefit from knowing when shoes will drop. They do some shady things, but most of them have to get people to camp for them. For the McFLys one dude had his little kids camp for 3 days. Another cat had 6 people camp for him since he had six McFlys presold before the line even started. They also will give out info for Benjis or more.
HOH is what it is. If you care bad enough turn on the charm and start jockin some employees. Throw them some bread and your in…HAHAAAA!
