As the Portland Trail Blazers prepare for the remainder of the regular season and their unlikely playoff push that none of the “experts” had predicted, franchise point guard Damian Lillard is looking to show love to some of his most loyal supporters.
He recently hand picked two of the biggest fans of his signature adidas line on Instagram, and rewarded each with the chance to create a custom colorway of his new DLillard 2 on miadidas. Dame will wear the shoes on court in either a Trail Blazer playoff game or at the start of next season.
The first winner, @cal_cab_503, is a Portland native that owns practically every single adidas Lillard shoe that has released. Cal created a “Rip City” themed edition for Dame’s home games, with a red toe overlay and black splatter paint midsole.
The other winner was @ka_ma_chi, who became very familiar with the miadidas options after ordering over 10 pairs of custom DLillard 1s from the site. He created a clean black, grey, red and white away option for Lillard to wear on the road.
